Architectural Story

At Colaba Heritage Loft, the sequence of restored colonial arches creates a measured rhythm that guides movement through the home. Each passage frames Mumbai's golden daylight differently, shifting the mood as one moves from courtyard to living space.

Materials were chosen for their cultural authenticity and quiet permanence: kota stone, lime plaster, and Indian teak accents. These textures invite touch and age gracefully, ensuring the home evolves in character while honoring Mumbai's architectural legacy.

Every choice within the residence was guided by sensory experience and cultural authenticity. The aim was not only to frame views of Mumbai but to shape how sound, touch, and temperature are felt as one moves through this heritage home.
